Small Christian Communities at St. Thomas More Parish
- Small Christian Communities help ordinary people connect faith with everyday life experiences.
- This is accomplished through prayer, sharing, listening, learning, mutual support and outreach.
- Ordinary parishioners gather weekly (Advent/Lent or thru the year) to sit in God’s presence and share from their hearts, how God is acting in their lives in the light of the Gospel.
- Most Small Christian Communities are 10-12 in number, though some are a little larger, some smaller.
- Our SCC’s meet in parishioners homes or in the parish center. Presently we have 11 small Christian communities.
